Three, the working principle
The profile of the case profile of the precession vortex flowmeter is similar to the profile of Venturi tube, with large ends and small middle. There is a set of guide blades for forcing vortex generation in the contraction section at the inlet side, and a rectifier grid for eliminating vortex flow at the outlet side to restore the axial flow of the fluid. When the fluid flows into the flow sensor, the guide vane at the entrance forces the axial flow to rotate, and the center of the rotating flow generates a vortex flow due to the accelerated flow of the fluid in the contraction section. At this time, as the tube section shrinks, the vortex flow concentrates on the central axis. When the vortex fluid enters the diffusion section, because the velocity slows down, the rotating fluid is affected by the backflow and begins to do a secondary rotation. The vortex flow has a turning point (at this point, the axial velocity component of the fluid is zero) and the vortex precession phenomenon is formed, so it is called the precession vortex. After the precession frequency signal is measured by the detecting element, the total flow rate, temperature and pressure are displayed by the secondary instrument.
