Description

Intelligent vortex flowmeter is a flow instrument that uses piezoelectric crystal as the detection element and outputs standard signal proportional to the flow. The instrument can be used directly with the intelligent flow totalizer, or with the computer and the distributed system to measure the flow parameters of different media. According to the detection principle of fluid vortex street, the piezoelectric crystal used to detect vortex street does not contact with the medium. The instrument has the characteristics of simple structure, good versatility and high stability. The intelligent vortex street flowmeter can be used for the flow detection and measurement of various gases, liquids and steam.

working principle:

The basic principle of intelligent vortex flowmeter is Carmen vortex street principle, that is, "the vortex separation frequency is proportional to the flow rate".

The flow body diameter of the flowmeter is basically the same as the nominal diameter of the instrument. As shown in Figure 1, a column with an approximate isosceles triangle is inserted into the flow body. The axis of the column is perpendicular to the flow direction of the measured medium, and the bottom faces the fluid. When the measured medium flows through the column, vortices are generated alternately on both sides of the column. The vortices are continuously generated and separated, and two staggered rows of vortices, namely "vortex street", are formed at the downstream of the column. Theoretical analysis and experiments have proved that the frequency of vortex separation is directly proportional to the medium velocity at the column side.

Where:

F - frequency of vortex separation at cylinder side (Hz);

V - column side velocity (m/s);

D - width of cylinder upstream surface (m);

Sr - Strouhal number. It is a constant that depends on the shape of the cylinder section and is basically independent of the fluid properties and flow velocity.

The measuring probe of the sensor is packaged by special process, and can withstand high temperature up to 350 ℃

The sensing element is sealed in the probe body, and the detecting element does not contact the measuring medium, with long service life

The sensor adopts compensation design to improve the seismic resistance of the instrument
